Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PalletEyes, operated by BWB Studio (ABN 33 805 877 408) (“PalletEyes”, “we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal information in connection with the PalletEyes website and application (the “Service”). We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

  • Account & contact details — name, email, organisation, role.
  • Operational data you enter — customers, contacts, drivers, vehicles, loads, compliance records, pallets, quotes and invoices.
  • Billing information — subscription and payment details, processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage & technical data — log data, device/browser information and activity needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, use the Service, or contact us; and automatically through your use of the Service (e.g. log data). Where you connect a third-party integration (such as your accounting software), we collect information you authorise that integration to share.

3. Why we use it

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Service;
  • To process subscriptions and payments;
  • To provide support and communicate with you about the Service;
  • To keep the Service secure and prevent misuse;
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service, only as needed and under appropriate obligations. These include cloud hosting and database providers, our payment processor, accounting integrations you choose to connect, and mapping/route services. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle the information consistently with the APPs.

6. Data storage & security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, access controls and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to records we are required to keep.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may use limited analytics to understand and improve usage.

9. Access & correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be notified through the Service.
